MFM GOSHEN ASSEMBLY LINCOLN

CHRIST IN DIFFERENT DIMENSIONS

See Christ in Diverse Realms

At MFM Goshen Assembly Lincoln, our ministries are designed to nurture spiritual growth and build strong community connections across all age groups. We believe that everyone has a place in God’s family, and our ministry wings are dedicated to providing meaningful opportunities for worship, fellowship, and discipleship. Whether you’re seeking a vibrant environment for your children to learn about God’s love or a dynamic space for youth to grow in their faith, our ministries are here to support your spiritual journey. Explore our ministry wings below to find where you and your family can get involved and experience the transformative power of God’s word.

Biblical Foundation
Our children’s ministry is built on Scripture. We believe kids can understand God’s truth when it’s taught clearly and with love.

We follow the Great Commission in Matthew 28:19-20—to make disciples and teach them to obey everything Jesus commanded. We also lean on Proverbs 22:6: “Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.”

Every lesson, every activity, every conversation points back to the Bible. We teach kids that God’s word is living and active. It’s not just an old book—it’s how God speaks to us today.
We want children to leave here not just knowing Bible stories, but knowing the God of the Bible.

Our Vision
We want kids to know God personally. Not just hear about Him, but actually know Him. We create a space where children can discover who God is, ask big questions, and see that faith matters in their everyday lives.

What We Do
Each week, we gather kids for interactive Bible lessons. We use stories, music, crafts, and games to help truth stick. Kids don’t just sit and listen—they participate. They laugh. They learn. And they build friendships with other kids walking the same journey.

What We Teach
We focus on building a strong foundation. Kids learn:

  • God loves them and has a plan for their lives
  • Jesus came to save us
  • The Bible is God’s word and we can trust it
  • Prayer is talking with God, not just at Him
  • How to treat others with kindness and respect

Memory Verse Program
Every month, kids learn a new Bible verse. We practice it together, break it down, and help them understand what it means. When they memorize it, they get to share it with the group. It’s not about perfection—it’s about hiding God’s word in their hearts.

A Safe Place
Parents can trust their kids are in good hands. We prioritize safety, background-check our volunteers, and create an environment where every child feels valued and welcomed.

If you’re new, stop by the children’s ministry desk. We’ll get your child connected and answer any questions.

Biblical Foundation
We stand on 1 Timothy 4:12: “Let no one despise you for your youth, but set the believers an example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity.”

Youths aren’t the church of tomorrow. They’re the church of today. We equip them with God’s word so they can live it out now—at school, at home, with friends.

Our Vision
We’re building a generation that doesn’t just know about God—they walk with Him. We want youth to own their faith, ask hard questions, and discover that following Jesus is the most important decision they’ll ever make.

What We Do
Youth ministry is more than weekly meetings. We create space for young people to be real. We dive into Scripture together, wrestle with tough topics, and build community that goes beyond Sunday. Through worship, small groups, games, and outreach, we help students see that faith isn’t boring—it’s alive.

We also host events throughout the year. Retreats. Service projects. Movie nights. These aren’t just for fun (though we do have fun). They’re opportunities to grow closer to God and each other.

What We Teach
Youth face real pressure. We don’t ignore that. We tackle topics like:

  • Identity in Christ vs. what the world says
  • Relationships, purity, and honoring God with your choices
  • Standing firm in faith when everyone around you isn’t
  • How to read the Bible and pray on your own
  • Using your gifts to serve others

We teach the full gospel. Sin is real. Grace is bigger. And Jesus changes everything.

Scripture & Topic Study
Every month, we tackle a new topic that matters to youth—identity, anxiety, purpose, relationships, social media, peer pressure. We don’t just talk about it. We go straight to what God’s word says.
Each topic comes with a key verse. We memorize it, break it down, and figure out how to apply it in real life. Students learn to use Scripture as their guide when they’re facing tough decisions or confusing situations.
The goal isn’t just knowledge. It’s transformation. We want students walking out with truth they can actually use.

Life Coaching & Career Development
We believe God has a plan for every student’s future. Our youth ministry includes coaching to help young people discover their gifts, explore career paths, and make wise decisions about what comes next.
We offer:

  • One-on-one mentoring with leaders
  • Workshops on college prep, job skills, and interview practice
  • Conversations about calling vs. just picking a major
  • Guidance on setting goals and making a plan

This isn’t just about getting a job. It’s about finding where God is calling you and preparing to step into it with confidence. We want students to graduate knowing their next steps and trusting God with their future.

A Place to Belong
Youth group is a safe place to doubt, question, and grow. We don’t expect perfection. We expect honesty. Our leaders are here to guide, encourage, and point students back to Jesus when life gets hard.
If your youth is new, bring them by. Let them see what we’re about. No pressure. Just community.
